In My Mailbox is hosted by The Story Siren... and this week I hauled in some seriously great books!!!1st - Nook Deals!! I got all these books for less than $10!! :-D I am getting really nervous about mountainous TBR piles, so I limited my choices to 4, which, I assure you, was not easy!!
I knew I had my "First Ever ARC" coming in the mail... but before The Rebel Wife could get here, Don't Breathe a Word arrived!! Apparently there was a RACE!
I proudly showed my Cool, Man the "not for resale" blips on the covers. I started to explain what ARC stood for and realized I have no idea. Help me out, book-lover's... does ARC stand for something?!
Holly Capula wrote me a note, too - how lucky am I?! Holly, I'm saving your note in my copy FOREVER!! (Yes... I'm not ashamed to be a crazy author FAN!!)
The Rebel Wife arrived the very next day (please notice my Very Cute tea cup from Moscow!) I am scheduled for an Author Interview and book Review for February 3rd. :-)
It was a GREAT week for deliveries because the book I won from Jaded Little Girl arrived, too!! This win was somewhat, uh, ironic b/c Chen was non-celebrating NOT writing 50,000 words for NaNoWriMo - and NEITHER DID I!! See? Epic Fail is quite the title, but since it's a retelling of Pride & Prejudice, I'm looking forward to reading it.
