I've entered TWO so far, so the torture I've participated in so far equals the pay-back. Ha!
I don't know about you, but my thoughts start going 'round in circles something like this:
hey! there's one I already followjajajajaja Ok... that was as exciting to write out as it is to enter a long giveaway!!!

there. That's all the Facebooks. Should I do the Twitters today or tomorrow?
Tomorrow.
I'm a little torn, to be honest. The prizes on those big giveaways are too good to pass up, you know? And somebody's gotta win... why not me?! On the other hand... it is a lot like torture.
It helps a LOT for me when I'm participating at a blogger I already (pretty much) trust. You know? I HOPE that my blogger friends know who they're hangin' out with. It adds a bit of confidence to the sudden expansion of FB & Twitter followage.
I mean, I know the bloggers I'm hookin' up with for the book blasts - they're all awesome and I'm so happy to follow 'em, anyway. I'm paying attention to that sort of thing, big prize or no!!
This is in response to a comment I rec'd which cracked me up... after I'd just left a similar on another book blogger's site. *snort*
