Ooh, this excites me! If I were a mermaid I would have long twisty brunette hair past my waist, an alluring voice, bright golden eyes and a glittering gold/emerald green colored tail. I love the thought of being a mermaid...which explains while at the age of 23 I still hold my breath when underwater swimming and imagine I'm the most enchanting mermaid ever created! ;-)

ReplyDeleteIf I was a mermaid I would want to have long blue hair and my scales would be blue, silver and black.
ReplyDeleteWell I would keep my read hair but it would be less curly and much longer. I would keep my green eyes too but I think I would give my lips a cool color like a sparkling purplish color and I would want a super fancy tail with lots of colors, like blues, greens, purples and pinks.

I like the idea of shimmering scales, but also shimmery skin above the tail too. Nice pretty long hair flowing hair! Unusual eye color and pale skin. Hmm, I think gills somehow so I'd breathe underwater.

I'd have my beautiful black hair. My tail would be shimmering scales of deep blue so it blends in with the water. My eyes the same color. My top, seaweed maybe? Not sure. Oh, and instead of a goldfish taile, my would be somewhat of a shark tail. :D

ReplyDeleteTan complexion with a little pert nose, high cheek bones, strong (but small)chin, long blond hair (almost white -there is all that salt in the water), light blue eyes, and an emerald green tail that looks blue directly in sunlight.

ReplyDeleteIf I was a mermaid, I'd have gills, a hairless body for streamlined swimming (which means I'd be bald), thicker skin and blubber to keep me insulated and warm, a very powerful tail, and webbed hands. I imagine something between a human, fish, and dolphin.

Mermaids are not quite my favorites. I like dryads best, mainly because dryads represent the spirit of the Sea. Its vibrating self.
& because when I was, like, 6 or 7 years old, my friend's mom shattered our minds firing us the shocking news that mermaids weren't real.
At first I didn't believe her. & still haven't.
& yet, I remember I was surprised how little this woman must know about life. i mean, I pictured in my head a mermaid swimming in the sea, & false or true, couldn't understand how she couldn't picture it as well as me.

DeleteI'd have a tail with gradients of different shades of blue, turquoise and teal that's iridescent in moonlight and really long black hair and my wrists would probably be decorated with jewellery I made from shells and sea weed since I'm a diy kinda gal. xD

ReplyDeleteI would have jet black hair like the darkness of the woods that gradually turn a neon blue at the tips. My hair would be a little bit passed my shoulders. My eyes would be a bright topaz, always filled with life and happiness. I would usually wear a bright blue shirt with spaghetti straps and a see-through dark blue cover up over it. I wouldn't be that tan, since I would swim in the darker and deeper parts of the ocean. My tail would be a black tail for camouflage but have a blue glimmer to it.

Then on my arms I would have fins that are sharp and mostly used as a weapon. I would some patch work of scales all over my body but not in huge clusters cause human skin is still shown.

If I was a mermaid I'd have hair past my waist that was crazy long and wavy. It would be as black as midnight. I'd have really pale skin and a purple and blue tale. Haha, let's add in purple or blue eyes too!
ReplyDeleteI'd probably want to cut my hair to at least my chin so it wouldn't swirl around and get tangled all of the time. Not to mention all of the stuff that would probably get stuck in it. It'd most likely be brown. And my bottom half would be like a dolphin, tail and skin. They are mammals after all, I'd imagine that would be more compatible. Would I wear some sort of bra? That depends on what the mer-culture is like. Tribal or advanced? Let's just settle on wearing something made out of neoprene, given to us mer-women by kind, lady, marine biologists.
