Book Tour Launch for
The Wedding March
By Tara Randel
Note from the Author
Welcome to Cypress Pointe, Florida, the setting for The Business of Weddings series. This month I’m proud to release The Wedding March.
Anyone who has been to a wedding knows there must be music at the reception. If not, how will we dance to YMCA or do the Electric Slide? Thanks to two remarkable artists, weddings in Cypress Pointe will have plenty of music. The question is, can Cassie Branford and Luke Hastings make beautiful music together?
Cassie has a short period of time before she has to be in the studio to record a new album. Problem is, she’s got writers block. Home for her father’s wedding, she stumbles upon a plan to solicit help in the writing department. The only problem is, her solution is to ask Luke for help and he walked away from the music industry years ago.
Luke is content to play at weddings with his band, teach high school English and run an at-risk program for kids. Or, he thinks he’s content. Until Cassie wrangles him into stepping back into the world of music. He’d closed the door on music, right? So why is it easy to sit down with Cassie and come up with a song or two?
I hope you enjoy Cassie and Luke’s journey in The Wedding March. And if you’ve read my previous books set in Cypress Pointe, you’ll catch up with familiar characters who pop up in this book. Thanks for stopping by!

Cypress Pointe, Florida, is a long way from LA, where pop singer Cassie Branford needs a hit to prove she's not a twoalbum wonder. But her case of writer's block could be over when the struggling songwriter meets Luke Hastings at a family wedding.
The legendary musician walked away from success at the height of his career. Yet Luke is already inspiring Cassie with his dedication to building a permanent community outreach center for troubled teens. Volunteering to help bring music into these kids' lives is also bringing her and Luke closer. Maybe they're not as different as he thinks…
