Anne Elisabeth Stengl has websites for each of her books. They are delightful things loaded with information. Today's REVEAL is a NEW PAGE on her site for Dragonwitch, the next in the series coming out in summer 2013. I could blather on about it a long time... but you must check it out!! I give you... the all new Characters You Will Meet page!

Two of my favorites are loaded with intrigue. They keep popping up in the world history, adding questions upon questions. Who are these guys? What all did they do? Will we finally find out?! From the NEW page:

Etanun Ashiun

Famous throughout mortal and immortal histories alike as a hero . . . and as a villain. One of the two Brothers Ashiun and a knight of Farthestshore, Etanun was the first bearer of the great sword, Halisa. With it, he twice slew Hri Sora, firstborn of all the Dragon's children. But twice she returned in greater fire and power than before.

At last Etanun was driven to make a desperate choice, the consequences of which will haunt him-- and the worlds--for all of time.

Akilun Ashiun

Etanun's brother and fellow knight, Akilun carried the lantern, Asha, which was filled with the white light of Hymlumé herself. He bore it across the Near World, shining its pure glow for all nations to see, and mounting lanterns like it within the famous Houses of Lights. But after Hri Sora, the Flame at Night, set upon the Houses and destroyed them one by one, Akilun carried Asha on a darker, deeper journey . . . one from which he never returned.

Starflower is the only book I've read so far and it stood alone, giving me the feeling that each of these stories is complete in itself and yet intricately intertwined. Emailing with Anne Elisabeth, she hinted that Sun Eagle makes a small appearance in Moonblood... remember that awesome guy? I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, but if you read Starflower, you have to be curious what happened to him. He disappears in a decidedly mysterious where'd he go?! sort of way. I can't wait to get to Moonblood just to see him again. Alhough... he's not known as "Sun Eagle"?!

I'm getting sidetracked. Here are the pages to all the books. As I said... delightful things...

The Dragonwood Series:

Yes, I know this is the Starflower Tour, but now I cannot wait for Dragonwitch coming this summer!!!!

by Anne Elisabeth Stengl
Expected publication: July 2013 by Bethany House Publishers

Submissive to her father’s will, Lady Leta of Aiven travels far to meet a prospective husband she neither knows nor loves–Lord Alistair, future king of the North Country.

But within the walls of Gaheris Castle, all is not right. Vicious night terrors plague Lord Alistair to the brink of insanity. Whispers rise from the family crypt. The reclusive castle Chronicler, Leta’s tutor and friend, possesses a secret so dangerous it could cost his life and topple the North Country into civil war.

And far away in a hidden kingdom, a fire burns atop the Temple of the Sacred Flame. Acolytes and priestesses serve their goddess to the limits of their lives and deaths. No one is safe while the Dragonwitch searches for the sword that slew her twice…and for the one person who can wield it
