Sometimes I feel intimidated by the great women in my family tree. I wonder if they are proud of me or waiting for my greatness to happen? Sometimes I wonder if greatness will skip me because I don't know how to compare with these giants in my history.
I grasp at horizons beyond my genes, too. Part of who I am comes from Charlotte Bronte, Louisa May Alcott & Jane Austen. From Robin McKinley, Elizabeth Moon & Anne McCaffrey.
What a great idea to celebrate womanhood. I look forward to what everyone else has posted today. Here I'd like to discuss what we like best. I prefer books written by women, seems like, which has sparked my answers to my awesome question:
What do you like best about being a Woman?
I love being emotional and irrational, feeling opposite things at the same time. I love deep one on one discussions with other women over tea or coffee and some crunchy snack. I love LOVE! I love the strength and diversity of being a woman... of doing lots of things very well.
